Our 5-year old granddaughter absolutely loves this and what a great, quality purchase we made. It will withstand many years of use. The fact that it has a blackboard, white board and the paper also gives her many choices when she is using it. When her parents asked us to purchase an easel for her, they did not think it would be this nice so everyone was very pleased. I would recommend this highly.
